My name is Mike and I’ve wanted a Chevy Avalanche since I was in 4th grade. A couple weeks ago it happened. I drove to Charlotte with my beautiful girlfriend (Who I met at Valentine Commons) and bought a black 2004 Avalanche. I love it.  It’s raised higher than a normal Avalanche but it’s tasteful, not at all obnoxious. The tint on the windows is pretty extreme. It might be illegal but I guess I’ll find out eventually. The guy I bought it from just advised me to roll down all of the windows if I get pulled over so a cop can see inside and won’t be scared when approaching the vehicle.

The whole weekend in Charlotte was fun. We ate at Ink n Ivy in uptown and then just wandered around for a while taking pictures by Bank of America Stadium. We originally planned the Charlotte trip because we were going to go to a NASCAR race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. However rain was in the forecast for the race so we just skipped it and had a great time anyway in uptown and at Concord Mills mall the next day.

I work a lot. Seeing all of that work pay off feels incredible. Shout out to Julia for driving my old Explorer back to Raleigh from Charlotte!
